Portable Lighting Kits

Our professional quality portable Lighting Kits are based around a lighting stand, fitted with a dimmer pack and 3 lanterns. One kit can be used as a stand-alone item, or up to four kits can be linked together to allow their control remotely from a control desk.  Items can be added or substituted as requested.

A1 Lighting Kit

With a 15A dimmer pack and plugs, this unit is recommended either for a small starter pack, or to complement installed over head lighting bars. Maximum height of the stand is 3.35m.

As shown in the photograph, a dimmer pack mounts on the stand and can connect to a standard 13 amp socket using the cable provided.  One dimmer pack allows up to six 500W lanterns to be plugged in and controlled by using the 3 faders on the front. Alternatively up to 4 kits can be connected using the Linking kits and controlled remotely. 

3 fresnel lanterns are supplied as standard.  These lanterns are ideal for general wash lighting with their soft edged beam. A fourth fresnel lantern may be added, which can be paired with one of the others, or a profile lantern could be added.  Profile lanterns are better for more precise lighting with their variable beam size and shutters.
